I'm extremely proud to be part of Fahir's incredible new album "Por Amor". I wrote Italian lyrics for one of his songs. The song I co-wrote and recorded is called "Come Musica".
Fahir is an extraordinary composer. He sold over 2 Million records in his career, and I am grateful and honored to be a guest on his project together with a super band and other amazing vocalists.
"Por Amor" blends musical elements from Turkey, Spain, Italy, the Middle East, Cuba and Brazil while revealing touches of American.
Songwriters Buika, Luciana Souza, and Aimee Allen have also contributed lyrics in their native language, sung to Fahir’s compositions. Fahir's band includes Alain Caron, Horacio "El Negro Hernandez" and special guests Romero Lubambo, Bob Franceschini , and Mustafa Boztuy.
The record is being nominated for the 2021 Grammy Awards as Best Jazz Album, Album of the year, Song of the year, Best Arrangement for Vocals, Best Packaging, and Best Engineering.
In 2021 I'll be part of Fahir's world tour!
Sono estremamente orgogliosa di far parte del nuovo incredibile album di Fahir "Por Amor". Ho scritto il testo in italiano per una delle sue composizioni che si intitola "Come Musica".
Fahir è un compositore straordinario. Ha venduto oltre 2 milioni di dischi nella sua carriera, e sono onorata di essere un ospite del suo nuovo progetto insieme a una super band e altre voci meravigliose.
L'album fonde elementi provenienti da Turchia, Spagna, Italia, Medio Oriente, Cuba e Brasile con un immancabile tocco americano.
Buika, Luciana Souza e Aimee Allen sono le altre cantanti che insieme a me hanno contribuito ai testi nella loro lingua madre. La band di Fahir include Alain Caron, Horacio "El Negro Hernandez", Romero Lubambo, Bob Franceschini , and Mustafa Boztuy.
