LETIZIA GAMBI LIVE PER LA GIORNATA MONDIALE DEL JAZZ

Letizia Gambi was invited to perform for the International Jazz Day as part of the Embassy Jazz Series. The virtual show will include artists from Italy, Japan, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, under the patronage of the Unesco, the Italian Cultural Institute in Washington dc, the Herbie Hancock Jazz Institute and the Blues Alley Jazz in Washington dc.

Letizia will present a special repertoire, performing with her all-women "4D band", from Rome, singing in English, Neapolitan and Italian, including a tribute to the late Chick Corea with whom she had the privilege of collaborating on her first record "Introducing Letizia Gambi".

All the shows will begin at 5pm EST/2pm PDT, and run concurrently on 6 platforms. You can watch each set individually or in one stream with additional instruction to follow.  

The performance will be available online for 72 hours, on the Blues Alley site.

EMBASSY JAZZ SERIES

The “Embassy Jazz Series” is a multi-cultural, colorful creative potpourri of artists, countries and music. We will take you on a kaleidoscopic journey around the world with six separate platforms offering a multitude of musical offerings. Our theme will be hope, unity and democracy and our purpose will be to promote “International Jazz Day” through the world’s love of this musical art form.

Letizia Gambi è stata invitata ad esibirsi nella rassegna Embassy Jazz Series parte delle celebrazioni per l' International Jazz Day. Lo show virtuale include artisti provenienti da Italia, Giappone, Grecia, Polonia, Portogallo, Svezia ed è patrocinato dall'Unesco, dall'Istituto Italiano di Cultura a Washington, dall'Herbie Hancock Jazz Institute e dal Blues Alley Jazz di Washington.

Presenterà un repertorio speciale con la sua formazione tutta al femminile "4D" da Roma. Canterà in inglese, italiano e napoletano e includerà un omaggio al grande Chick Corea scomparso da poco e con cui ha avuto il privilegio di collaborare nel suo primo album "Introducing Letizia Gambi".

I concerti inizieranno contemporaneamente su 6 piattaforme diverse,  alle 23 italiane. Potrete assistere ai concerti singolarmente o tutti in successione. Basta seguire le istruzioni sul sito. 

La performance resterà visibile sul sito del club Blues Alley per 72 ore.
