On a big stage in the heart of Naples, close to the Dome dedicated to San Gennaro, one of the most famous italian patron saint, Letizia received the "San Gennaro Award" as recognition for being an international artist who brings made in Italy and neapolitan culture in the world.

Letizia performed "My Town" (Carmela) her english adaptation of a song written in 1976 by Sergio Bruni dedicated to Naples, "Sweet Georgia Brown/Dig" which starts with an intro inspired from the neapolitan popular opera "La gatta Cenerentola" and an improvised tribute to the great Pino Daniele. With her : Elisabetta Serio on piano, Marco de Tilla on bass and Leonardo de Lorenzo on drums.

Siamo lieti Letizia Gambi è in gara per le prestigiose Targhe Tenco, nella categoria Miglior Interpreti con l'album Blue Monday.

Tra gli altri in gara, Massimo Ranieri con “Malìa”, Peppe Barra con “E cammina cammina” , Peppe Servillo coi Solis String Quartet con “Presentimento”.Ma anche Patty Pravo, Francesco De Gregori.

Happy to announce Letizia is considered for the prestigious Italian award Targhe Tenco , as Best Interpreter with Blue Monday album.

"When you dream you don't have the courage to dream so big", Letizia Gambi stated, the italian singer who gave a new sound to her neapolitan heritage collaborating with the legendary jazz musician Lenny White. "I had just experienced a hearing-loss on one ear and I was going to quit with the music, then I met him" the neapolitan artist said.  

"It was her spirit to inspire me and convince me", says Lenny , responsible for changing Letizia's life, starting teaching her lessons he have learned in his career from heroes like Miles Davis. Tonight they present the single "Blue Monday", the song who gives the title of the new album just released in Italy , on May 6th.
